Is there a free trial?
Yes. Team and Business tiers offer a 14-day no-card trial. Sign up, get the proxy running against your sources, see the audit log fill in. No credit card required to start. If you do not add a payment method by day 14 the subscription auto-cancels and you drop to the Free tier without losing your configured contracts or policies.
What counts as a "resource"?
Data sources and MCP upstreams share one resource cap. Free tier ships 5, Team 15, Business 50, Enterprise unlimited. A registered Postgres instance is one resource; a connected GitHub MCP server is one resource; both come out of the same bucket so you can mix governed databases and governed agent tools without two separate counts.
How do annual contracts compare to monthly?
Annual saves 17% on Team and Business: Team is $499/mo or $4,990/yr ($416/mo billed annually), Business is $2,499/mo or $24,990/yr ($2,083/mo billed annually). Free and Enterprise are not affected by the toggle. Switch between cadences mid-term in the customer portal.
What happens if I exceed my resource cap?
Adding a resource that would cross the cap returns a 402 with the current usage and the cap on your plan. Existing resources keep working at full governance. There is a 7-day past-due grace period if a payment fails so the proxy keeps enforcing while you sort out billing; after that the cap drops to the Free tier.
Can I downgrade?
Yes. The Customer Portal lets you switch tiers up or down at any time. If your current usage is over the new tier's cap, the existing resources keep running but you cannot add new ones until you remove the overage. The console surfaces an "X of Y" badge on every resource list so you always see where you stand.
Do you offer non-profit, education, or startup discounts?
